How long has PRESStige been in business?
Since 1978, PRESStige has been writing, selling and supporting
software. Back to top |
How many companies run your software?

Several hundred companies run PRESStige software. Most of these
companies are commercial printers located all over the U.S.,
however, we also have many other companies using the software,
including accountants, construction companies and others.

Can I talk to some of your customers?
No problem. Just let us know and we would be glad to send a
contact list. We don't put this list on the web site because
we don't want our customers bombarded with too many phone calls.

What about security in accessing the programs?
There is a security program which allows you to create user

Is the software integrated to the Internet?
Many parts currently integrate with the internet. For example,
you can |
- Email
invoices, statements and quote letters
- FTP
invoices
- Broadcast
emails to selected customers
New features are continually being added that add to this list.
Work has also started on fully Internet ready programs that
you can access from any computer with just a browser.

What about training?
Believe it or not, the software is actually simple enough to
use that in most cases formal on-site training sessions are
not necessary. Because of this, on-site training is not included
in the standard price. Training is available on an as needed
basis. Back to top |
What are the hardware requirements?
Press-tige programs are not huge machine hogs. Just about any
computer that runs Windows 95 or newer operating system should
work. Keep in mind that Estimating and Job Costing are working
with large databases so the faster the better for these applications.
- Single
computer. Minimum 32MB memory with 100MB available disk
space.
- Network
server. Depends on size of network being served. No minimum
requirements, your hardware vendor should be able to guide
you. Back
