PRESStige
Automatic Data Collection makes it possible to collect job cost
data directly from the production floor. The system allows data
to be entered via keyboard or through bar codes. In either case,
it is not necessary for the user to remember or look up codes
to enter the necessary data. Data collection can be done through
standard PCs connected to your network or through PRESSpads,
special data entry stations.
Labor and material can both be entered at the same time. The
system allows for a labor code which indicates if the time was
chargeable, overtime, author alteration, rework, etc. There
are up to 10 labor codes available, each one customizable.
At the end of each shift, a time card report is printed for
verifying correct entry. Errors can be easily corrected in the
job costing program.
Ganging of jobs is also supported.
During production, a supervisor can view activity on all data
collection devices. The data goes to job costing in real time,
so job costing has up to the minute status on the job. |
